We all know by now that Baby Boomers are the ones driving companies to change their products and their offerings en masse – after all, Baby Boomers are the ones with the disposable income and free time, right? Well, yes, but that’s not everything apparently! A recent article on Entrepreneur.com explained that the newest force driving change in the travel industry today are the youth.
Their sheer numbers ensure that Millennials are a force for change – and those changes are positive for the rest of us, too. In hotel rooms in particular, the Entrepreneur article explains that young travellers are looking for comfort over structure: things like sumptuous bathrooms and plugs conveniently located beside comfy couches and lounge chairs are new trends.
