An all-new World Business Class was just introduced by KLM Royal Dutch Airlines. This new stylish business class will be available on the Toronto-Amsterdam route.
“We are one of the first airlines to use a designer, not only for the seats, but really for the entire cabin. She was responsible for everything, from the curtains to the pillows, the whole cabin,” said Femke Kroese, commercial director, AF-KL Canada.
The designer, Hella Jongerius, has had works of art displayed at venues such as the Museum of Modern Art in New York. The overall goal of the design was to make the passengers feel more at home when hey travel with KLM. The new seats measure to 207 centimeters when converted to it’s full 180 degrees—a glorious flat position. Along with the large, comfortable seats, the class comes with plenty of storage space for customers.
